THE PAPROCAŃSKIE LAKE
AND PARK
Paprocany is a place willingly visited by both residents of the city of Tychy as well as tourists. There are many attractions for children and adults in the park. These include a playground, a rope park, and a water playground. There is also a wide beach and a pier to be found. It is an ideal spot for hiking and biking tours. Tychy, as one of a few cities in Poland, offers the possibilty of using city bikes. Tyski Rower system is easy to use and the possibility to choose the type of bike (cargo, tandem, and children’s bikes) encourages to spend time actively with your family.
PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN
The playground besides the Paprocańskie Lake is a modern facility that attracts the youngest with a huge structure of a ship with slides and climbing equipment. The whole thing is made with great attention to details. Right next to the ship, there is a standard playground, but it is equally interesting and has a lot of attractions such as swings, climbing walls, slides, and a sandpit.
ROPE PARK
The Paprocany Rope Park is an interesting pastime for everyone who likes to stay active. The entire structure of the rope park is mounted on trees so to play safely at height. Overcoming the prepared obstacles, we can feel like mountaineers. Visitors can choose between 12 types of tracks with different levels of difficulty.
The Paprocany Rope Park offers 12 routes at five altitude levels:
1m; 2.5m; 3.5m; 7.5m; 11m.

SPORTS RESORT
People who like competitions and team sports will also find something for themselves. There is an illuminated soccer field and a sand-covered beach volleyball court as well as two tennis courts. Bicycles are available for those who want to go on a cycling trip. They are to be rented in the building of the sports complex.
WATER PLAYGROUND
FOR CHILDREN - IN SUMMER SEASON
The Water Playground is a place to visit on warm days. It will surprise not only the youngest ones, but also older children. Such attractions as: a rainbow water gate, suspended overflow buckets, fountains in the form of flowers and much more are to be found there. These attractions are intended for older children, but the little ones have not been forgotten either. A zone has been created especially for them, where fountains and water cannons have a correspondingly lower pressure. The non-slip floor complements the safe play.
SWIMMING EQUIPMENT
RENTAL - IN SUMMER SEASON
The lake offers many options to spend time. In addition to walking and lying on the beach, you can go kayaking or rent a pedals boat. In summer season, there is a water equipment rental in the Paprocany Recreational Center.
WINTER ICE-RINK
No skating no winter. In the winter season, you can use the ice rink free of charge. What’s more, you are welcome to take part in skating lessons as well as rent the skates for a small fee.
